This is what I enjoy for dessert most nights. It is so warming on the stomach. Raw cacao contains significant amounts of antioxidants, magnesium and the neurotransmitters dopamine and phenylethylamine (PEA) known to aid mental alertness, improve mood and help with weight loss.
- Serves 1
Ingredients:
- 1 cup vanilla unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp natvia (or sweetener of choice)
- 2 tsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp almond butter
Method:
- Combine all ingredients into a mug.
- Heat in the microwave for approximately 2 minutes. (Alternatively combine and warm ingredients in a saucepan on the stove).
- Stir and enjoy.
